Located in Central America, Panama's volcanic soil is the perfect growing environment for the key ingredient in rum making: sugar cane. This is what led Billy Walker, Master Blender, to search for the best rum that Panama has to offer.
Distilled from sugar cane molasses grown in volcanic soil, this exceptional rum was initially matured in American oak barrels in the tropical Panamanian climate. After being personally selected by Billy Walker, the “spirit” was transported to the cool and pleasant atmosphere of the GlenAllachie distillery in Scotland.
This rum finishes its maturation in “sherry cask”, virgin oak and ex-Bourbon barrels for more than 2 years. This rum is bottled at 46% alcoholic volume, without added coloring or cold filtration.
COLOR : burnished bronze.
NOSE : fruity aromas such as mango, peach and banana, accompanied by hints of ginger.
TASTE : flavors of banana, papaya and mango, with coconut, toffee, orange zest and a touch of pineapple.
