Isle of Raasay Scottish Gin is smooth and aromatic. Local botanist Dr Stephen Bungard helped hand-select only the finest botanicals indigenous to the island of Raasay to arrive at an exquisite blend of ten ingredients in total. Juniper Berries, Pepper, Lemon Peel, Sweet Orange Peel, Rhubarb Root, Angelica Root, Coriander Seeds, Licorice Root and Florence Root.
We create the perfect balance of flavors by distilling juniper along with carefully selected botanicals in our copper still. The rest of the botanicals impregnate the distillate through the neck of the still when the alcohol vaporizes, using metal meshes that are inserted into various sections of the still.
