Nose of good intensity, aromas of very fresh and ripe red fruit, marked toast from the barrel, fine spices with touches of sweet paprika and red peppercorns, soft sensations of candied cherry, menthol, mountain herbs and wet stone. Powerful entry into the mouth with a soft astringency, good mid-palate and fresh acidity, tasty red fruit, very spicy, balsamic, liquorish sensation that bathes the toasted notes. Pleasant and voluminous tannins, fresh and persistent. Long finish, aftertaste of red fruit and smoky retronasal.
