Tasting Note: Pellejo is one of those wines for special occasions. Old vines more than 100 years old. Cherry red color, clean and crystalline. On the nose it has a high intensity. Good amount of cassis, currant and blackberry fruits. Spicy, leather, floral hints of violet. Complexity of aromas with a good amount of tertiaries. Smoke, licorice, leather. Good acidity that coexists with the sweetness of the alcohol, balanced and with a bitter finish. Long and complex wine.
