Charanda is a Mexican distillate with a Denomination of Origin (DO) and produced in the state of Michoacán in western central Mexico. The Pacheco family has been making Charanda, also known as 'Guarapo', for more than 115 years. The Casa Tarasco distillery is located in the city of Uruapan. The Sol Tarasco range is made with local sugar cane honey. It has no added sugars.
Color : dark mahogany with touches of copper.
Aroma : honey, vanilla and cinnamon. Very intense nose.
Palate : rich and smooth.
Finish : creamy and velvety, persistent.
