Tasting Notes: Cherry red color, bright reddish rim, good layer. High intensity nose, with aromas of ripe red fruit combined with pleasant toast from the barrel, also spicy touches, soft sensations of candied cherry, hints of scrubland and wet stone. Powerful entry into the mouth with well-ripe tannins, good mid-palate and fresh acidity, tasty red fruit, very spicy, balsamic, a liquorish sensation that bathes the toasted notes, with volume, frank and persistent, with a long finish. Ideal to accompany roasts and stews, red meats, small game, cheeses and cold cuts.
