This recipe takes the sweetness of classic old tom and mixes it with organic botanicals that give a twist to the original recipe.

Old Tom gins emerged in 18th century Great Britain and consisted of adding a little sugar to classic gin. According to legend, “Old Tom” was the name of the cat figure where a slot was placed in which to place a coin and the distillate was then clandestinely dispatched. All this in order to avoid the rules that prohibited the sale of alcohol during the “Gin Act” of 1736.

Purity Craft Old Tom is sweet and smooth. The flavor of juniper is complemented by floral and herbaceous notes of basil, thyme and other botanicals. It has a pleasant finish, thanks to the subtle flavor provided by red cranberries and Nordic blueberries.
