Tasting Note: Monastrell Pie Franco wine selected and chosen to be bottled by hand from a special and limited edition, 1587 bottles. Its production, labeling and manual sealing make this wine a unique piece from centuries-old vineyards. Dark cherry color with maroon edges. Very expressive and good complexity, aromas of very ripe red and black fruit, almost jam, spices, coffee, chocolate, with balsamic and mineral hints. Controlled power, tasty, with ripe fruit predominating over toasted notes. Combination of fresh balsamic with pleasant spices. Polished tannins, long finish and great persistence.
